The Mark III series brings key safety and durability updates to the Hi-Power platform, including a firing pin block and ambidextrous thumb safeties. This .40-caliber variant uses a strengthened slide and cast frame specifically engineered for the .40 S&W chambering.
Built with a steel frame and slide in a matte black finish, this pistol uses an external long extractor and vertical rear slide serrations. It wears black checkered polymer grip panels with slotted screws and a spur hammer, staying true to the functional Hi-Power profile.
Sights are fixed, with a low-profile rear in a dovetail and a ramped front with a white insert for quick alignment. The single-action trigger system and ambidextrous safeties provide a familiar Hi-Power manual of arms.
The barrel measures 4.7 inches, and capacity is 10+1 as configured. Rollmarks indicate Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q., with manufacturing in Belgium and assembly in Portugal.
