This Cougar 8000 F is the F-variant with an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker and DA/SA operation. It is hammer-fired with an exposed spur and will fire without a magazine installed (no magazine disconnect). The smooth dustcover keeps the lines clean and free of accessory rails, consistent with the model’s compact profile.
The 3.6 in barrel is cold hammer-forged and hard chrome-lined. The short-recoil rotating-barrel locking system is true to the Cougar design, paired with a nitride-hardened steel slide and an anodized aluminum-alloy frame for durability.
This example carries the factory Silver finish with matte silver slide and frame, black polymer grip panels with Stoeger medallions, and fixed quick-read 3-dot sights. Capacity is 15+1 in 9x19, with an overall length of approximately 7.0 in and weight around 32.6 oz.
Manufactured in Turkey and imported by Stoeger Industries (USA), it bears the correct import and origin markings. The slide and frame have matching serial numbers, aligning with factory assembly.
