This Lipsey's Distributor Exclusive, designated Model 5247 and Catalog KNVB-35X, is a Flat Top Convertible built on a stainless flattop frame with a brushed stainless finish. It carries hardwood grips with Ruger silver eagle medallions and a six-shot fluted stainless .357 Magnum cylinder for a clean, classic profile; the included 9mm Luger conversion cylinder is unfluted.
The convertible-cylinder system allows a tool-free swap between .357 Magnum and 9mm Luger. This example includes the factory 9mm conversion cylinder, adding versatility for ammunition choice and range use while retaining the traditional single-action operation.
The 5.50 in cold hammer-forged stainless barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist with 8 grooves. Sighting is set up with a pinned ramp front and a fully adjustable rear sight marked "Micro," providing precise, repeatable adjustments.
Built as a full-size single-action revolver, it incorporates Ruger's transfer-bar safety and an ejector rod housing with an ejector head. Manufactured in 2018 in the United States, it was California roster-listed per Ruger at the time of reference.
