Marked F.LLI PIETTA – MADE IN ITALY with Gardone black powder proof, it combines classic lines with detailed Italian craftsmanship.

The De Luxe treatment stands out with factory foliate scroll engraving on the brass frame, trigger guard, barrel lug, and top barrel flats. The steel cylinder is bright polished and features the classic roll-engraved naval battle scene that complements the 1851 pattern.
Built on an open-top, wedge-retained Colt 1851 pattern, this single-action percussion revolver uses an under-barrel loading lever for seating balls. It has fixed sights with a brass front sight and a V-notch cut into the hammer nose, preserving the original-style sight picture.
Construction pairs a brass frame with polished steel barrel and cylinder, finished in polished steel and brass. The octagonal 7 3/8 inch steel barrel uses a 1:30 twist. A one-piece varnished hardwood grip completes the traditional profile.
Markings include F.LLI PIETTA – MADE IN ITALY and the star-over PN black powder proof from Gardone, confirming Italian manufacture and proofing. This example was made in 1991 and follows the brass-frame Pietta "Reb Nord Navy" configuration.
