This custom Aero Precision X15 Gen 2 delivers a well-sorted AR-15 configuration with premium components and clean execution. It pairs a 16-inch threaded barrel and three-prong Plan B compatible flash hider with a Cross Machine Tool HDM 11.5-inch free-float M-LOK handguard and an uninterrupted Picatinny top rail. Notable upgrades include a FailZero nickel-boron BCG, Armaspec Classic ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous safety, Magpul furniture, and a Vortex one-piece cantilever scope mount. The lower is marked Aero Precision, Lakewood, WA, and the receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish.

This rifle is built on an Aero Precision X15 Gen 2 lower, marked Aero Precision, Lakewood, WA. It uses a direct-impingement 5.56x45mm NATO system with a 30+1 capacity. The receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish, made in the USA.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and capped with a three-prong flash hider that is Plan B compatible. An uninterrupted Picatinny top rail runs from the receiver through the handguard, offering consistent mounting space along the entire upper.
The front end is anchored by an 11.5-inch Cross Machine Tool HDM free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard. It provides ample M-LOK attachment real estate and maintains a rigid, free-floated setup. A BCM vertical foregrip is installed for added control.
Internals and controls are upgraded for durability and ambidextrous operation. A FailZero nickel-boron bolt carrier group supports smooth cycling and easy maintenance. The Armaspec Classic ambidextrous charging handle and ambidextrous safety selector make the rifle easy to run from either side.
Ergonomics are rounded out with a Magpul MOE pistol grip and an adjustable Magpul carbine stock with a 12.5-inch length of pull. A Vortex one-piece cantilever scope mount is installed, and the rifle is configured without sights.
