This Rock River Arms LAR-15 is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 carbine built around a 16-inch chrome-moly barrel with a 1:9 twist and a threaded muzzle capped by an A2 flash suppressor. It features an A4 flat-top upper with ejection-port cover, brass deflector, and forward assist, plus iron sights that include a barrel-mounted flip-up front sight and a detachable rear sight/optic riser with A2-style adjustments. It comes with a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 3-9x40 AO scope, two 1-inch 3/8"/11mm dovetail rings (not compatible with Picatinny/Weaver rails), a 30-round Magpul PMAG, and the Rock River Arms factory hard case.

The 16-inch chrome-moly barrel is rollmarked "RRA 5.56 NATO 1/9 CM," confirming its chambering and twist. A threaded muzzle with the A2 flash suppressor and a carbine-length gas system complete a practical carbine setup. The action is semi-automatic, direct impingement.
The A4 flat-top upper receiver includes an ejection-port cover, brass deflector, and forward assist. Up front, a flip-up front sight is mounted on the barrel. A short forward accessory rail and an underside sling-swivel stud are present. A detachable optic riser/rear sight assembly with Picatinny top and A2-style windage/elevation drums provides the rear sighting system.
Furniture includes a six-position, collapsible M4-style polymer stock, a rubberized finger-groove pistol grip, and carbine-length two-piece polymer handguards with heat-shield vent holes. Controls include a standard magazine release and a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE selector markings.
Included accessories add flexibility: a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 3-9x40 AO scope with a duplex/mil-dot-style reticle and 1-inch tube, plus two 1-inch 3/8"/11mm dovetail rings (rimfire/airgun type; not compatible with Picatinny/Weaver rails), are provided (not mounted). Separate Picatinny/Weaver rings will be needed to mount the scope to this rifle.
