The Competitor HD is the steel-frame variant in the M&P 9 M2.0 Metal series, delivering full-size capacity with a robust build. Its Tungsten Gray Cerakote slide and frame pair durability with a purposeful competition-forward configuration.
A 5-inch spiral-fluted barrel and a windowed, lightened slide with an open-nose front help manage reciprocating mass. The slide includes an optics cut using the S&W CORE-style interface, and this pistol arrives with the factory plate and screw kit plus a cover plate installed.
Controls and ergonomics reflect the M2.0 lineage: a flat-faced trigger, striker-fired action with a trigger safety, and an NTS (No Thumb Safety) configuration. Interchangeable palmswell backstraps with aggressive M2.0 texture allow quick fit adjustments.
Sight picture comes from a green fiber-optic front blade and a plain rear notch. An integrated accessory rail offers mounting space for compatible lights or accessories as needed.
