The DD5 V3 platform brings ambidextrous operation throughout, including the safety, magazine release, bolt catch, and the GRIP-N-RIP charging handle. The upper is marked "DD5V3" with a "7.62" caliber oval, and it uses a DLC-coated bolt carrier group with dual ejectors for strong extraction and ejection. The rifle is compatible with SR-25/PMAG LR pattern magazines and retains an ejection-port cover with no forward assist.
The 16-inch barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome lined with a 1:10 twist and the Daniel Defense S2W profile. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with a three-port muzzle brake. A two-position adjustable gas block (suppressed/unsuppressed) is actuated through the handguard for quick setting changes.
Its DD5 Rail 15.0 free-float aluminum handguard provides a full-length, T-marked Picatinny top rail and M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. An integral QD sling point near the muzzle offers convenient mounting. The barrel, upper, and handguard interface with a rigid four-bolt connection system.
This rifle is set up with a B5 Systems Precision Stock and an adjustable length of pull, along with a textured over-molded pistol grip with finger grooves. Factory overall length is approximately 33.4–37 inches with a listed weight of 8.35 lb. Made in the United States.
Capacity is 20+1 with the included Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3 20-round magazine. The rifle’s 15.0-inch rail and ambidextrous controls round out a configuration designed for dependable performance in a .308 Win AR-10 platform.
