This Micro Medallion is a first-generation A-Bolt from the 1988 era, manufactured by Miroku in Japan. The receiver flats are bright finished, with the right flat engraved "MEDALLION," and the floorplate/triggerguard assembly is blued and engraved with a gold Browning Buckmark on the latch.
The rifle features a 20-inch barrel rollmarked "PAT. 4723569 A-BOLT CAL. .243 WIN ONLY." Chambered in .243 Win, it uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift, a fluted bolt body, and a pear-shaped polished (in-the-white) bolt handle. The detachable box magazine is housed within the hinged floorplate for a stated 4+1 capacity.
The stock is gloss-finished walnut with cut checkering, QD sling swivel studs, and a Browning-marked buttplate. A gold-colored trigger and top-tang safety complete the classic A-Bolt controls and handling.
The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this example has 1-inch rings already fitted.
