Built on an IMBEL Type III upper receiver, this rifle reflects the proven FN FAL pattern executed by Brazil’s state arsenal. The receiver is steel, and the action is semi-automatic, gas-operated, with a short-stroke piston and a tilting-bolt locking system.
The 21-inch barrel is plain crowned and non-threaded, with no flash hider. Sights are the correct L1A1 style: a protected post front on an open-ear base and a folding aperture rear mounted on the lower receiver.
Furniture is the Commonwealth inch-pattern set in hardwood. The stock is fixed with a steel trapdoor buttplate and rear sling swivel, and the rifle retains its wooden pistol grip. The two-piece, ventilated hardwood handguards include a front sling swivel ring.
