This Stag Arms Model 3G is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 featuring an 18" stainless steel barrel with shallow fluting near the muzzle and a stainless multi-port muzzle brake. It carries the New Britain, Connecticut roll-mark from before the company’s 2019 relocation. The rifle is built around a Samson Evolution Series 15" free-float aluminum handguard with a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail, and comes equipped with a Magpul ACS stock, Magpul MOE grip, and an ambidextrous safety selector.
The lower receiver is marked with the Stag Arms deer-head logo and the legend 'STAG ARMS NEW BRITAIN, CT' along with 'MODEL STAG-15 CAL 5.56MM.' The upper is right-hand ejection and includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and dust cover. A continuous T-marked top rail runs from the receiver through the handguard to support sight placement across the full length.
The 18" stainless barrel is threaded and fitted with a stainless multi-port muzzle brake with a crenellated face. The fluting near the muzzle reduces forward weight while maintaining the strength of the stainless profile. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, it pairs accuracy-focused barrel construction with a competition-length gas system typical of this Model 3G configuration.
The Samson Evolution Series 15" free-float aluminum handguard is marked 'PATENT PENDING' and 'SAMSON MFG. CORP., U.S.A.' It provides a long, uninterrupted sight radius on the T-marked Picatinny top rail and ample space for accessory placement. The rail section on the handguard measures approximately 15".
Furniture includes a Magpul ACS stock on a carbine receiver extension with an adjustable length of pull of approximately 11.5" to 14.5", and a Magpul MOE pistol grip. Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector. A low-profile folding polymer rear sight is installed; no front sight is present. The rifle uses a semi-automatic, direct impingement action and has a 10+1 capacity with the included 10-round magazine.
