The fixed-barrel blowback design with a steel 4.1-inch barrel helps deliver consistency with 22 LR, paired to a striker-fired system for a clean, modern trigger with an integral safety blade. The slide is 7075-T6 aluminum with a steel breech insert, finished in hard-anodized black with front and rear cocking serrations and TX markings at the muzzle.
The polymer frame keeps weight low at approximately 17.3 oz unloaded and features a molded, stippled grip with the Taurus bull logo. An integral 3-slot Picatinny-style rail on the dustcover supports common accessories, and the left-side controls include the slide stop and magazine release. The manual thumb safety is ambidextrous, complemented by a trigger safety.
Sight alignment is straightforward with a 3-dot setup: a fixed white-dot front and a polymer rear adjustable for windage and elevation. Capacity is 16+1 rounds of 22 LR, offering ample range time between reloads. The serial number plate is located on the underside of the dustcover.
