The pistol maintains the classic Gen 3 subcompact configuration with rear slide serrations and no accessory rail, and it accepts larger Glock 9mm magazines from the G17 and G19.

The G26 Gen 3 delivers proven Glock performance in a subcompact package with a 10+1 capacity. Its 3.43-inch, cold-hammer-forged steel barrel uses polygonal rifling and is paired with Glock's durable matte surface treatment on metal components.
This example is Austrian-made and properly marked, with the frame reading "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." and the barrel hood stamped "AT" with a proof/inspection symbol. No serial number is present on the barrel hood. The slide and frame carry matching serial numbers.
The Gen 3 configuration includes rear slide serrations, fixed polymer sights (white dot front and white U-notch rear), and a subcompact grip with finger grooves and a pebble-textured surface. The frame is black polymer, and controls include a standard left-side magazine release.
Safety features include the Glock trigger safety and a loaded chamber indicator. This G26 accepts larger-capacity Glock 9mm magazines from the G17 and G19, offering flexible carry and training options. As a Gen 3 subcompact, it does not have an accessory rail.
