This Kimber CDS9 TFS is a recent-release, all-metal micro-compact in 9mm Luger built in Troy, Alabama. It pairs a stainless 3.64 in threaded barrel (1/2x28 with protector) and visible porting with an aluminum-alloy frame, a single-action trigger, and external hammer, delivering a single-action configuration with a manual thumb safety. It comes well-appointed with iron sights (red fiber-optic front), a three-slot Picatinny rail, and an extensive magazine set, plus a spare factory ported barrel.

The CDS9 (Covert Double Stack) architecture delivers a micro footprint with an all-metal, single-action, hammer-fired system. The aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight down while preserving a solid feel, and the orange/black textured G10 panels provide a firm, repeatable grip.
The TFS configuration features a 3.64 in stainless barrel that is threaded 1/2x28 and capped with a thread protector. Factory porting is visible through the slide’s lightening/vent windows, and this example also ships with a spare Kimber CDS9 stainless ported barrel. A dual-recoil-spring system manages the slide and barrel assembly.
The slide uses front and rear fish-scale serrations for traction and incorporates lightening/vent windows that showcase the ported barrel. Controls include an external hammer, a single-action trigger, and a manual thumb safety.
Sighting is straightforward with iron sights: a red fiber-optic front and a plain rear notch. A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is integrated into the dustcover for mounting compatible lights or accessories as needed.
Capacity is 15+1 with the included 15-round steel magazines; 12-round and 10-round steel magazines are also provided. The magazines use grip-extension base pads to support a consistent purchase across the assorted sizes.
