Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight 12 Gauge Pump-Action, 28 in Roto-Forged Barrel, Fixed Modified (M) Choke, Factory-Engraved, Bottom-Eject, Takedown
This Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight stands out with factory engraving featuring a field scene of a pointer and flushing pheasants, a bottom-ejecting, bottom-loading action, and a takedown configuration with a knurled magazine/takedown collar. It wears its original blued steel finish and checkered walnut stock with fleur-de-lis accents, and it includes a Bushnell variable-power scope mounted on a receiver-top saddle mount. The 28-inch steel barrel is roto-forged with a fixed Modified (M) choke and a 2 3/4 in chamber, combining classic Ithaca design with practical field features.

The Model 37’s bottom-ejecting, bottom-loading design delivers a clean-sided receiver and directs empties straight down. This example retains the classic Featherlight profile with a blued steel receiver and a walnut stock that features checkering, fleur-de-lis accents, a black grip cap, and a ventilated recoil pad with line spacers.
The 28-inch steel barrel is roto-forged and configured with a fixed Modified (M) choke for versatile 12-gauge performance. It is a takedown barrel, and the knurled magazine/takedown collar makes disassembly straightforward for transport and maintenance. Chambering is 2 3/4 in.
A Bushnell variable-power scope is installed on a receiver-top saddle mount with rings, providing an optic solution without altering the receiver. The shotgun retains its bead-sight setup at the muzzle, and the condition notes above address the missing bead insert.
Controls and markings are consistent with U.S. production: the receiver is blued steel, and the gun is marked PROOF TESTED and MADE IN U.S.A. The under-barrel tubular magazine holds 2 rounds (2 3/4 in), for a total capacity of 3, and the listed length of pull is 13.75 inches.
