The MAC 1014 uses a semi-automatic, short-stroke dual-piston gas system designed to run 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. The right-side charging handle is an oversized cylindrical knob for confident control.
Its 18.5 inch barrel is made from 4140 steel, chrome-lined for durability and easy maintenance. A flush internal choke follows the Mobil pattern, giving the user common aftermarket compatibility if desired.
Sight regulation comes from a protected post front and an adjustable rear ghost ring, offering a fast, clear sight picture. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish, marked "MAC 1014" with the MAC shield logo.
Classic walnut furniture includes a fixed stock with a rubber recoil pad, rear sling swivel stud, and checkered wrist, plus a matching wood forend. A 5-round tubular magazine runs nearly to the muzzle and terminates in a knurled magazine cap. The barrel is marked "12GA. 3" - FOR 2-3/4" OR 3" SHELLS."
