What’s Included
- SIG Sauer MCX Virtus Patrol 7.62x39 semi-automatic rifle
- 1 x 30-round curved steel 7.62x39 AR-pattern magazine
Chambered in 7.62x39, this Virtus Patrol uses a 16-inch steel barrel that is factory-threaded and fitted with a 3-prong flash hider. The barrel is marked 7.62x39, and total capacity is 30+1.
The short-stroke gas-piston system includes an adjustable gas regulator to tune operation. An internal recoil system eliminates the need for a buffer tube, enabling a true side-folding stock. The MCX platform’s quick-change barrel design supports caliber and barrel modularity.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard features a continuous 1913 top rail that bridges seamlessly with the receiver for mounting options. Controls include extended bolt catch/release paddles on the left side, with right-side ejection, a dust cover, and a case deflector. The pistol grip is SIG-branded polymer.
Finished in Flat Dark Earth, the aluminum-alloy receiver pairs with a matching side-folding, skeletonized stock with a rubber buttpad. The length of pull is 12.5 inches. Markings include “SIG MCX MULTI-CALIBER” on the magwell and “SIG SAUER INC NEWINGTON NH USA” on the receiver. Made in the USA during the 2017–2022 production era.
