The Rock Standard FS configuration delivers a Government-length 5 inch slide and frame with a standard barrel bushing and plug. The Series 70 firing system omits a firing-pin block for a traditional 1911 lockwork feel while retaining the platform's single-action operation.
The pistol features a matte black Parkerized finish on a 4140 cast carbon steel frame for durability. A flat mainspring housing and a mild internal magwell bevel support consistent reloads and a familiar 1911 grip profile.
Controls include an extended beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a thumb safety, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The skeletonized, lightened 3-hole trigger provides a crisp single-action pull characteristic of the design.
