Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Field Grade 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun, Pre-WWII, 30 in Plain Barrel, Fixed Full Choke, 2 3/4 in Chamber, Bottom-Eject
This early pre-war Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Field Grade is a bottom-eject 12 gauge with classic field styling and factory game-scene roll engraving. It features a 30 inch plain barrel with a fixed Full choke and a 2 3/4 inch chamber, along with a takedown system and a knurled magazine cap. Notable for its slam-fire capable trigger and U.S.-made blued steel receiver, it represents an early production configuration from the non-interchangeable barrel era.

The Model 37 is known for its bottom-ejecting design, and this Featherlight Field Grade example comes from the early pre-WWII production era. It retains the classic field-grade receiver with factory roll-engraved waterfowl scene on the right side.
The barrel is a plain, non-vent-rib 30 inch tube marked Full choke with a 2 3/4 inch chamber. The fixed Full choke and 2 3/4 inch chambering are a traditional field setup, and capacity is 2+1.
It uses Ithaca's takedown system with a knurled magazine cap. As an early-production example, it comes from the period when spare barrels typically required factory fitting rather than simple interchange.
Construction includes a blued steel receiver and blued finish, with a wood pistol-grip buttstock and matching wood forend. The stock and forend are checkered, length of pull measures 14.5 inches, and the trigger group is slam-fire capable.
