The G22 Gen 3 is a full-size .40 S&W with a 4.49-inch steel barrel and a 15+1 capacity. It uses Glock’s striker-fired Safe Action system and fixed metal sights, pairing a serrated rear with a bright orange-dot front for fast sight acquisition.
This example features a custom color-applied olive green topcoat on the slide and frame, giving it a distinctive uniform olive green look. The slide has rear-only serrations with no front serrations.
Gen3-specific controls and frame details are present, including finger grooves, the single-slot Glock Universal accessory rail, a left-side slide stop lever, and the small square magazine catch. The extractor serves as a loaded chamber indicator as part of the Safe Action system.
Made in Austria, this pistol bears the Glock, Inc., Smyrna, GA importer line along with Austrian proof symbols on the barrel hood. The slide, barrel, and frame carry matching serial numbers. The G22 platform saw wide adoption by U.S. law enforcement agencies throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
