This Kimber Rapide Scorpius is a full-size 9mm 1911 built around a 5-inch match-grade stainless barrel with a DLC finish, distinctive top lightening windows, and TruGlo TFX Pro day/night sights. Finished in Black KimPro II with brushed flats and fitted with a flared magazine well, it comes with four 10-round magazines and the original Kimber-branded hard case.

The Rapide Scorpius pairs a government-length 5-inch slide with a single-action, hammer-fired 1911 platform in 9mm Luger. It is a recent release within Kimber's Rapide series and uses a standard single-stack 1911 grip frame.
The match-grade stainless steel barrel receives a DLC finish, and the slide features top lightening windows plus front and rear serrations. Both the slide and frame wear a Black KimPro II finish with brushed flats for a defined two-tone texture effect.
TruGlo TFX Pro sights come installed: an orange-ring front with green dot (base marked TG-H3) and a U-notch rear with two green dots that is drift-adjustable. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized V-cut aluminum trigger round out the fire-control setup.
Ergonomics are supported by full-size textured synthetic grip panels in black/gray with a multi-surface relief pattern and a flared magazine-well funnel for faster reloads. Factory specs note a 12 lb recoil spring, overall length of 8.7 in, height of 5.25 in, width of 1.28 in, and weight of approximately 40 oz. The frame carries Kimber and Yonkers NY USA rollmarks, and the barrel hood is stamped "9MM." The grip frame has no accessory rail.
