The CP in CP33 denotes Competition Pistol, and the 33 references the standard-capacity magazine. Its proprietary quad-stack, transparent magazines deliver a 33+1 capacity in .22 LR, and this pistol includes two factory magazines.
A rigid, black-anodized aluminum upper is paired with a black polymer grip frame that features Kel-Tec's waffle texturing. Controls are set up for practical handling, including an ambidextrous manual safety, a heel-type magazine release, and a non-reciprocating, bilateral rear charging handle.
The 5.5 in barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and capped with a thread protector. Sighting is fast and precise with a fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable rear, complemented by an approximate 9 in sight radius. Operation is semi-automatic blowback with a 1:14 twist rate.
A ventilated aluminum forend and integrated mounting interfaces provide flexibility, with rails and a scope mount available for accessories. Overall length is 10.6 in, unloaded weight is about 1.5 lb, and it is made in the USA. MSRP is $495.
