Specific Condition Notes: There are scratches and blemishes on the rifle. There is a small chip in the stock underneath the grip. There is a small amount of pitting on the rear sling swivel. There is also a small amount of pitting on the left side of the barrel that is slightly hidden by the stock.

The Model 700 VLS platform here uses a short-action receiver chambered in .308 Win and an approximately 26-inch heavy/varmint-contour barrel with a recessed/target crown and an unthreaded muzzle. The barrel carries the Remington barrel date code "DY."
The rifle is fitted with a Macmillan aftermarket H-S M24 stock and a Wyatts Outdoors detachable magazine adapter. The composite stock has a black textured finish, a wide flat fore-end, a single front sling stud, and an HS Precision buttpad. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
The Wyatts Outdoors DBM conversion provides a detachable box magazine system with an external magazine well. Two 5-round steel magazines are included, and the rifle is set up for a 5+1 capacity.
A jeweled bolt body and a right-side safety at the rear of the bolt shroud are featured on the action. A one-piece multi-slot Picatinny receiver rail is installed for mounting optics. Sling studs are configured with one on the fore-end and one at the butt. The barrel has a matte gray finish, while the receiver, rail, bolt shroud, bottom metal, and stock are black, giving the rifle a two-tone appearance.
