The Hammer Coach configuration features 20-inch side-by-side steel barrels with a solid, matted top rib and a single front bead sight. It is a break-action shotgun with a 2-round capacity, suited to the straightforward handling expected of a coach-length double gun.
Controls and operation are traditional, with external hammers that wear knurled spurs for confident cocking, double triggers, and a manual top-tang safety. The beavertail forend uses a Deeley-style latch, and the length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
Finish and furniture details are well executed: polished blued barrels pair with a color case-hardened receiver and furniture. The hardwood stock has a pistol-grip profile and checkering, matched by a hardwood beavertail forend. Light rosette and scroll accents are factory-applied. Matching serial numbers are present on the tang and forend iron.
Markings include CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS; HUGLU; 12 ga.; and Made in Turkey. Barrels are marked for CZ-USA and Huglu. No removable-choke notches are observed at the muzzles.
