Built on Ruger’s M77 Hawkeye-based action, this Gunsite Scout uses a controlled-round-feed system with a non-rotating Mauser-type claw extractor and a fixed blade ejector. The bolt body is left in the white, and the rifle uses an AICS-pattern detachable magazine system with a 10+1 capacity.
The 17.5 in alloy steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a birdcage flash suppressor. The matte blued finish complements the rifle’s practical, field-ready configuration.
Iron sights include a protected front post and an adjustable ghost-ring rear. A rail/scope mount is present, offering an option for mounting optics in addition to the irons.
The grey/black laminated hardwood stock features checkering, sling swivel studs, a recoil pad, and the Gunsite raven medallion. Length of pull is spacer-adjustable and set at 13.25 in. A manual safety is included.
