FN SCAR 17S 7.62x51mm NATO Semi-Auto Rifle, 16.25 in CHF Chrome-Lined Barrel, Black, Folding/Telescoping Stock
This FN SCAR 17S is a U.S.-made 7.62x51mm NATO rifle built around a monolithic aluminum upper with a full-length T-marked Picatinny rail and a short-stroke gas piston system with a 2-position adjustable regulator. It features a 16.25-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, threaded barrel with a multi-port muzzle device, the legacy left-side reciprocating charging handle, and a side-folding, 6-position stock with adjustable length of pull. Factory folding steel sights and two magazines are included.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The exterior shows scattered scratches and blemishes consistent with light handling. The muzzle device shows pitting and carbon buildup.

The short-stroke gas piston system with a 2-position adjustable gas regulator provides clean operation and lets the user tailor gas settings. This example uses the legacy reciprocating charging handle, installed on the left side.
The 16.25-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and medium profile. It is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle device.
The monolithic aluminum upper includes a full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail with marks 5–41, and the polymer handguard provides accessory rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
The rifle has a side-folding, 6-position stock with an approximate 11.5–14 inch adjustable length of pull, a checkered polymer pistol grip, and factory folding steel sights (front post on the gas block and a rear aperture). The receiver is marked "FN COLUMBIA, SC USA" and finished in black. Capacity is 20+1.
