This Taurus 856 Executive Grade is a bench-built, hand-fitted revolver from Taurus's Executive Grade program launched in 2022. It features a hand-polished satin stainless finish, a 3 inch heavy barrel with a full underlug and shrouded ejector rod, and a double-action-only, bobbed-hammer configuration. This example includes an AmeriGlo H3 pinned front sight with an orange insert, factory-chamfered cylinder charge holes, and the Executive Grade crest on the right sideplate.

The Executive Grade treatment distinguishes this 856 with additional hand-fitting and a hand-polished satin stainless finish across the frame, cylinder, and receiver. The right sideplate bears the Executive Grade crest, and the yoke/crane interior is stamped 626.
Built on a small frame with a six-round cylinder, this revolver uses a 3 inch stainless steel barrel in a heavy profile with a full underlug and a shrouded ejector rod. The cylinder charge holes are factory-chamfered to aid loading.
The double-action-only system pairs with a bobbed, spurless hammer for a smooth draw and snag-resistant profile. Sighting is straightforward and durable: a fixed top-strap notch rear and a pinned, user-replaceable front ramp.
This example is fitted with an AmeriGlo H3 front sight featuring an orange insert for a bold front aim point. Grips are checkered wood with decorative scroll-style panels, and an extra wood grip is included. Markings include Taurus Int'l Mfg Bainbridge, GA and Taurus Armas Made in Brazil.
