This Intratec TEC-DC9 is a full-size, U.S.-made 9mm pistol notable for its simple blowback, closed-bolt action and distinctive top-mounted reciprocating charging handle. It features a ventilated cylindrical barrel shroud, fixed iron sights, and the Miami rollmark. The bore is excellent, and it comes with one 30-round steel magazine.

The TEC-DC9 uses a simple blowback, closed-bolt system in 9mm Luger, paired with a full-size layout and an approximate 5-inch barrel. Ejection is to the right side, and the charging handle is mounted on top and reciprocates with the bolt.
Construction consists of a tubular steel upper receiver and a polymer lower/grip with steel inserts. The magazine well is positioned ahead of the trigger guard, and the gun includes a rectangular rear sling/lanyard loop mounted at the very rear of the upper receiver/top strap, separate from the end cap.
Sighting is straightforward, with a fixed front post that is integral to the shroud cap and a fixed rear notch set on the top strap. Stated capacity is 30+1, and this example includes a steel stick magazine.
Factory markings include the model rollmark: "INTRATEC MIAMI FL 9MM LUGER MOD. TEC-DC9 PATENTS PENDING." These markings, along with the distinctive ventilated cylindrical barrel shroud with large circular ports, identify the configuration.
