The EVO SP Two-Tone features a stainless steel slide treated with a black ferritic nitrocarburized finish over a lightweight aluminum frame in KimPro Silver. This two-tone configuration delivers a clean, modern look with durable surface treatments. The slide is marked "EVO SP," the chamber hood is marked "9MM," and the frame is marked "KIMBER YONKERS, NY, USA."
Its 3.2" stainless, match-grade, bushingless barrel uses a recessed, deeply crowned muzzle. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations, an enlarged and lowered ejection port, and an external extractor. Disassembly does not require pulling the trigger, per the factory manual.
The pistol is striker-fired with a trigger safety and safety tab. Ergonomics are enhanced by front-strap serrations and an undercut trigger guard. Textured polymer grip panels and an interchangeable backstrap system allow straightforward fit adjustments, with additional panels and backstraps included.
Factory 3-dot tritium night sights are installed, with a ledge-style rear and a front tritium dot surrounded by a white ring for visibility. The single-column detachable magazine system provides a 7+1 capacity in a micro-size format, and this example includes five factory magazines for immediate usability.
