Made in Russia by Izhmash, this Saiga-12 carries correct factory and import markings, including the Izhmash triangle-arrow, Russian proof/acceptance stamps, and dual model markings "SAIGA-12" and "САЙГА-12." The receiver is marked "12×76 18,3," with the bore marked at 18.3 mm. It bears the Russian American Armory Company (Scottsburg, IN) import mark and an '09 date stamp confirming production/import prior to the 2014 U.S. sanctions.
The 19 in barrel is cylinder bore and features external threads capped by a thread protector. It is paired with a front post sight on the short sight base. The chamber is 3 in, providing compatibility with 12 gauge 2-3/4 in and 3 in shells as marked. The matte black finish complements the steel receiver and factory configuration notes.
This shotgun uses a gas-operated, semi-automatic action with an AK-pattern safety lever. The receiver includes the AK-pattern left-side optics/accessory side rail. Length of pull measures 15.0 in, and the overall configuration follows the proven AK-derived Saiga format with a robust steel receiver and practical control layout.
