What’s Included
- Sig Sauer MCX-SPEAR LT rifle (7.62x39, 16-inch barrel)
- 1x 30-round steel detachable box magazine (7.62x39)
This MCX-SPEAR LT is chambered in 7.62x39 and uses a 16-inch carbon steel barrel that is cold hammer-forged and threaded. A three-prong flash hider is installed from the factory. The rifle is configured for a 30+1 capacity and ships with one 30-round steel magazine.
The action is a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston with a two-position gas valve. Sig’s buffer-less dual guide-rod recoil system allows the rifle to run without a traditional receiver extension while keeping cycling smooth and contained within the upper assembly.
Ergonomics are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release, safety lever, bolt catch/release, and charging handle. The stock is polymer, folding via a push-button mechanism, length-adjustable, and mounts to the rear 1913 interface. Length of pull is listed at 11.0 inches. A SIG-branded polymer pistol grip is installed.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard and full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail provide ample space for mounting accessories. The upper and lower receivers are aluminum, and the rifle is made in the USA.
