The XCR-L Standard uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston action with a numbered, adjustable regulator that includes a 0/manual setting for precise tuning, including suppressor-focused settings. The left-side, non-reciprocating charging handle and ambidextrous safety selector support efficient manipulation. It accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines and uses a standard right-side magazine release.
Its 16-inch barrel is made from 4150 CMV steel and is chrome-lined and button-rifled with a 1:9 twist. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and is fitted with an A2-pattern flash suppressor.
A monolithic upper provides a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. The ventilated aluminum fore-end with elongated oval slots aids cooling and gives ample mounting space. Folding backup iron sights are included, with both front and rear units folding flat when not in use.
The side-folding, skeletonized stock has a fixed length of pull and remains operable when folded. An A2-style checkered pistol grip provides a familiar interface. The aluminum receiver features a hard-anodized base with H-series Cerakote. The rifle is marked "MODEL: XCR-L MULTI-CALIBER" and incorporates Robinson Armament’s patented quick-change barrel system for fast caliber or barrel swaps. Made in the United States.
