The SPS Marine Magnum package delivers the proven 870 pump-action in a configuration built for harsh environments. A matte nickel finish covers the receiver, barrel, and magazine components for corrosion resistance, and the receiver is marked "Remington 870 MAGNUM" for clear model identification. The barrel is marked "REMINGTON ILION, NY" and "CYL," denoting its fixed cylinder choke.
Its 18.5 inch barrel and single front bead sight provide a straightforward sighting setup. The extended magazine tube with a barrel clamp offers a 6+1 capacity. The action is pump-operated and chambered in 12 gauge.
The black synthetic stock includes a Remington SuperCell recoil pad and a rear sling swivel stud, while the ribbed synthetic forend offers a secure grasp. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
An aftermarket wrap-around Picatinny rail adapter is provided for those who plan to add accessories; it is uninstalled and not all hardware for installation is included. Set screws and threaded trigger pins will need to be sourced. A polymer M-LOK shotgun forend (uninstalled) and a FAB Defense M-LOK comb are also included, along with a shooting bag.
