Springfield Armory M1 Garand .30-06 — December 1941 Receiver, 24 in Barrel, Parkerized, Replacement Barrel and Walnut Stock
This M1 Garand features an early-wartime Springfield Armory receiver from the December 1941 production timeframe, paired with a refreshed build that includes a replacement barrel and a non-original walnut stock. The receiver heel is marked "U.S. RIFLE CAL. .30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY." The bore is excellent with sharp rifling, and the rifle retains a parkerized finish. It remains true to the M1 configuration with its standard gas system, iron sights, and internal en-bloc clip feeding.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There are some scratches and blemishes present. There is a patch of pitting on the charging handle.

The receiver is a Springfield Armory early-wartime example from December 1941, marked on the heel "U.S. RIFLE CAL. .30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY." It aligns with the WWII era and is finished in parkerizing over steel.
This rifle has been refreshed with parts. The barrel is a replacement marked "FA .30-06 6535448 02/10 31," and the bolt is marked "D28287-12SA W9B." It retains the M1's semi-automatic, gas-operated, rotating-bolt system and uses the internal 8-round en-bloc clip.
The stock set is a replacement walnut assembly without inspector cartouches. It includes two-piece walnut handguards with metal ferrules, sling swivels, and a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
Sighting equipment is the correct iron setup: an aperture rear sight with windage and elevation drums and a protective sight cover, paired with a wing-protected front blade. The gas system uses the standard gas cylinder with bayonet lug and a cross-slotted (dual-slot) gas-cylinder lock screw. The barrel length is 24 inches.
