It features a 28 inch plain, roto-forged steel barrel stamped FULL, a factory roll-engraved field/game scene on the steel receiver, and classic walnut furniture with fleur-de-lis checkering and an Ithaca red Sunburst ventilated recoil pad. Chambered for 2.75 inch shells with a 4+1 capacity, it is marked PROOF TESTED and carries the Featherlight rollmarks throughout.

This Featherlight variant pairs a blued steel receiver with a factory roll-engraved field/game scene and clear MODEL 37–FEATHERLIGHT and MADE IN U.S.A. markings. The later post-855,000 pattern receiver is noted for improved barrel interchangeability, aligning with updates seen in this era of production.
The 28 inch plain barrel is roto-forged steel and rollmarked ROTO FORGED, with a fixed Full choke for traditional 20 gauge patterns. A single orange front bead provides a straightforward sight picture, and the gun is PROOF TESTED.
Controls are classic Model 37: bottom loading and bottom ejection, a cross-bolt safety at the rear of the trigger guard, and a 4+1 capacity. The chamber is 2.75 inches, suitable for standard 20 gauge loads of its period.
Walnut furniture completes the package. The buttstock has a pistol grip with fleur-de-lis checkering, an Ithaca medallion grip cap, and an Ithaca red Sunburst ventilated recoil pad with white/black line spacers. The matching checkered walnut fore-end provides a positive grasp, and length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
