The right-hand flintlock sidelock action delivers traditional ignition with an external hammer and a hooked breech for easy barrel removal. The 27 in octagonal barrel is blued with the top flat left bright/in-the-white and marked "THOMPSON | CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE CAL 54," confirming its U.S. manufacture and caliber.
The hardwood half-stock has a straight comb and a gloss finish, retained by two wedge keys with steel escutcheons. Steel-mounted furniture throughout includes a T/C logo stamped steel buttplate. An under-rib with two ramrod pipes is fitted beneath the barrel.
Controls and sighting equipment are set up for precise shooting: double set triggers, a dovetailed front blade, and an adjustable open rear sight. Capacity is single-shot, as expected for a traditional muzzleloader.
Length of pull measures 13.75 in, offering a comfortable fit for most shooters within a classic long-gun profile. Overall, the rifle retains a clean presentation consistent with careful handling.
