It comes outfitted with a 4x32 scope in rings and a Caldwell bipod, plus two 25-round factory magazines and the original box. The rifle features a continuous Picatinny top rail, AR-style controls, and a 6-position adjustable stock.

The M&P15-22 SPORT uses polymer upper and lower receivers that mirror AR-15 ergonomics while keeping weight down. Controls are AR-15–style, including a functional bolt catch/release and a manual safety. The receiver set is matte black and intentionally omits a forward assist and ejection-port dust cover.
Its carbon steel barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash suppressor. The rifle uses a slim M-LOK handguard with elongated slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. A continuous Picatinny top rail bridges the receiver and handguard for mounting optics and accessories.
This example includes an unbranded 4x32 scope with a 32 mm objective installed in rings, along with a Caldwell bipod installed. There are no factory sights. A Magpul MOE MVG vertical foregrip (MOE-slot version) is provided separately; to mount it on the M-LOK handguard you will need an M-LOK-to-MOE adapter (a Picatinny adapter will not work).
The 6-position telescoping stock provides an adjustable length of pull from approximately 10 to 13.5 inches and incorporates a sling loop and textured buttplate. The A2-style polymer pistol grip complements the AR-based layout.
Chambered in .22 LR with a semi-automatic blowback action, this rifle has a 25+1 capacity and comes with two factory 25-round magazines. Barrel length is listed at 16.25 inches; the factory carton label notes 16.5 inches. Made in the United States and marked with S&W mfg. part number 13065.
