The solid steel receiver and twin action bars provide the proven 870 pump-action foundation, with side ejection and a cross-bolt safety for straightforward operation. The action bar lock is positioned ahead of the trigger guard, and the trigger plate assembly is black polymer.
The 20" smoothbore barrel is paired with rifle sights for clear alignment: a ramped front post and an adjustable open rear. The barrel has a fixed choke and a matte, bead-blasted finish.
Chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells, this Express Magnum uses a standard-length magazine tube with a knurled end cap and offers a 4+1 capacity. The barrel stamp notes use of 2 3/4" or 3" shells in magnum receivers.
Hardwood furniture includes a long sporter forend and a stock with pressed checkering. The 14.0" length of pull and ventilated Remington recoil pad complete this full-size configuration in a matte, bead-blasted dark finish.
