What’s Included
- Imperial Japanese Arsenal Type 38 Long Rifle chambered in 6.5x50mm Japanese
The long rifle configuration centers on a 31.4 inch barrel, a full-length stock, and two gas-relief ports on the left receiver wall. The integral charger guide feeds a fixed internal 5-round magazine using standard stripper clips, staying true to the original military pattern.
Its sighting system pairs a protected front blade with a tangent ladder rear sight graduated to 2400 meters. The sliding cursor provides clear elevation indexing consistent with Type 38 doctrine.
The large knurled disc safety at the rear of the bolt doubles as a cocking indicator and permits silent decocking, a hallmark feature of the Type 38 action. The rifle uses a smooth, strong bolt-action system with a steel receiver and blued barreled action.
Furniture consists of an oil-finished hardwood, full-length military stock and a short upper handguard around the rear sight base. A front sling loop is fitted at the lower/middle barrel band; the rear buttstock sling swivel is missing.
Receiver markings include "三八式" identifying the model, along with a small arsenal emblem on the left receiver rail. Made in Japan, this example reflects core Type 38 design and construction details that collectors look for.
