The slide is marked Springfield, MA USA and carries the factory caution that it is capable of firing with the magazine removed. It comes with both 7- and 8-round S&W factory magazines and a Pole.Craft IWB Kydex holster.

The M&P9 Shield M2.0 format delivers a compact, micro-size 9mm package with a slim single-stack profile. The polymer frame in black incorporates the M2.0 aggressive texturing for an anchored grip while maintaining a thin, carry-friendly footprint.
The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations along with wave-pattern serrations for confident manipulation. Sights are fixed, dovetailed 3-dot irons, with a single-dot front and a two-dot rear secured by a set screw.
This configuration deletes the manual thumb safety and uses a striker-fired, hinged trigger with an integrated trigger safety. The magazine release is positioned on the left side. The pistol is marked Springfield, MA USA and the slide bears the factory caution: 'CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED.'
The 3.1 in barrel pairs with included 7- and 8-round factory magazines, enabling a flush-fit or extended grip option with capacities of 7+1 (with the 7-round magazine) or 8+1 (with the 8-round magazine). There is no accessory rail on the frame.
