    What's Included
    • Colt Agent First Issue .38 Special revolver

Built on Colt's lightweight D-frame, this First Issue Agent combines a blue-black anodized aluminum alloy frame with blued steel barrel and cylinder. The frame and crane are marked with the lightweight "LW" designation and matching number, confirming the alloy construction that distinguished the Agent from its steel-framed relatives.

The classic First Issue configuration is present: a thin 2-inch barrel, unshrouded ejector rod with knurled tip, six-shot fluted cylinder, grooved topstrap, and a short grip frame. Checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions complete the compact D-frame profile.

Sights are fixed, with a serrated ramp front and a square-notch rear milled into the grooved topstrap. The action is double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer, paired with a smooth, narrow trigger for a clean stroke.

Rollmarks are sharp and period appropriate: "AGENT .38 SPECIAL CTG." on the left side of the barrel and "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CONN.

U.S.A." on the right, plus the Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. Made in the United States in 1959, this revolver represents the early, lightweight Agent pattern that many Colt enthusiasts seek.
