The frame is an original-generation Thompson/Center Contender from the 1970s, featuring the early aesthetic with factory-style scrollwork and circular hunting-scene motifs on the blued steel sides. Made in the United States, it uses the Contender’s familiar break-action, single-shot design with an external hammer.
The .22 LR Super 14 barrel is factory-marked and set up specifically for optics with no iron sights installed. A bright-metal muzzle extension has been affixed to the barrel, resulting in a total barrel length of 16.5 inches. This extension brings the assembly past the 16-inch threshold while maintaining the Super 14 profile.
Optics are handled by a silver Simmons ProHunter variable 3-9x scope with a 1-inch tube, mounted on a Weaver one-piece base with matching 1-inch rings. The package is configured for immediate scope use and does not include iron sights.
Wood furniture includes a shoulder stock with a Monte Carlo comb and a Decelerator rubber buttpad, paired with a matching wood fore-end. True to the Contender platform, the frame supports interchangeable barrels and uses a dual firing-pin, hammer-top selector for rimfire or centerfire barrels, adding flexibility to the system.
