The upper is marked DDM4V9 and 5.56, with Daniel Defense manufacturer and model markings on the receivers. The 16-inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and government profile with a 1:7 twist for 5.56mm NATO. Threads are 1/2x28 at the muzzle, and a Daniel Defense flash suppressor is installed.
A free-floating Daniel Defense DDM4 Rail 15.0 quad Picatinny handguard provides full-length rail space. The rail is 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III hard-coat anodizing, features top T-marks and side R-marks, and integrates QD sling sockets.
Customization includes a Magpul UBR adjustable carbine stock with a QD sling socket and an overall length of pull of 13.0 inches. The rifle also has a textured pistol grip with a wrap/overwrap, plus a user-applied rattle-can earth/black paint scheme over the factory hard-anodized finish.
