Built at Long Branch Arsenal in Canada, this No. 4 Mk I* represents wartime production with the Mk I* streamlined bolt release. It uses the Lee-Enfield cock-on-closing action with an integral charger bridge, and features the round bolt knob and serrated rear cocking piece associated with the pattern.
