Made in Belgium, this BAR High-Power Grade II Type 1 features a polished blued steel receiver with factory-style scroll engraving on both sides, highlighted by an animal-head motif on the left. The gold-colored trigger and high-polish finish complement the Grade II presentation.
It is a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle chambered in .300 Win. Mag., with right-side ejection and a right-side charging handle. A bolt release button is positioned forward of the ejection port. The detachable box magazine is accessed via a hinged floorplate, and capacity is 3+1.
The 24-inch barrel pairs with classic walnut furniture: a pistol-grip stock with cut checkering and a black buttplate with a white-line spacer, plus a walnut forearm with triangular cut checkering. Sling swivel studs are installed front and rear. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this example has no factory iron sights.
A Redfield 3-9x variable riflescope is mounted on two-piece Redfield bases and rings, with flip-up lens covers installed. The setup aligns well with the period and configuration of this 1970s Browning autoloader.
