This Colt Government Model comes from the Colt Custom Shop in Bright Stainless and is chambered in .38 Super. It features a mirror-polished stainless slide and frame, with the Custom Shop "COLT CUSTOM" rollmark on the left side of the slide, a 5-inch Government-length barrel with the standard bushing and plug system, and distinctive white pearlescent grips with large raised Rampant Colt emblems. It includes the factory blue Colt case with a matching O1911C-BS38 label and one 9-round magazine.

Built as a Custom Shop configuration, this Government Model carries distinctive rollmarks: "COLT CUSTOM" on the left side of the slide and "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL" on the right. The slide and frame wear a mirror-polished Bright Stainless finish that showcases the Custom Shop presentation.
The pistol is a full-size 1911 with a Government-length 5-inch barrel and the standard 1911 bushing and plug system. It is chambered in .38 Super and uses a single-column magazine format, with a 9+1 capacity. One factory 9-round magazine marked "38S" is included.
Controls and ergonomics follow the classic 1911 pattern: single-action operation with a left-side thumb safety and a grip safety. It has a short, solid, non-skeletonized trigger and an arched, vertically serrated mainspring housing for a traditional Government Model feel.
Sighting equipment consists of fixed black sights: a front blade and a rear square-notch. The slide has rear-only vertical cocking serrations, keeping the profile clean and period-correct for this configuration.
