Manufactured by Derya Arms in Turkey and imported by APINTL/Rock Island Armory, this VR80 is marked 12 Ga. 3" and proof tested. The aluminum receiver wears a black finish, and the build features quality fitment with proven Turkish manufacture and RIA import oversight.
The short-stroke gas operating system is designed with interchangeable rings for tuning to light or heavy loads. This example includes the heavy-load gas ring and the knurled gas plug, giving the owner practical flexibility. Feeding is via detachable steel box magazines, and capacity is 5+1.
The 20" barrel is threaded and enclosed by a spiral-fluted barrel shroud with a threaded muzzle and knurled cap/adapter. An interchangeable choke system supports pattern tuning; included are Full and Cylinder RIA screw-in choke tubes.
Controls mirror the AR-12 platform with a familiar layout: bolt catch/release, magazine release, and selector, plus an ambidextrous safety. The shotgun features a ventilated aluminum forend secured to the barrel shroud and a full-length top Picatinny rail that bridges the receiver and handguard. Sighting is handled by flip-up front and rear sights. The fixed polymer thumbhole stock includes a rubber buttpad, and the length of pull is 14.5".
