What’s Included
- Ithaca M-49 .22 LR single-shot rifle
The M-49 operates with a lever-actuated modified Martini-type single-shot breechblock, giving it the familiar lever feel while maintaining a simple, reliable one-round capacity. The exposed hammer features a serrated spur for positive control.
Its exterior echoes classic carbine styling with twin bands and a false under-barrel magazine tube, complemented by a black finish on the barrel and receiver. The barrel is rollmarked for .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle, providing flexibility in ammunition selection within its single-shot design.
Sighting is straightforward and practical: a ramped blade front sight pairs with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear leaf with an elevator. The 18-inch steel barrel contributes to a handy overall profile, while the clean, sharp-rifled bore supports precise rimfire performance.
The hardwood stock and single-piece forearm feature a straight grip. The buttstock wrist has pressed checkering, while the forearm is smooth/uncheckered. A black ribbed buttplate marked "Ithaca Gun Co. Inc." completes the setup. The length of pull measures 13.75 inches.
The right side of the buttstock bears a handwritten ink signature; the identity is unverified.
