Built as a Wilson Combat Super Grade on a Colt Government Model MK IV/Series 70, this pistol delivers a classic custom 1911 configuration from a notable period. The barrel hood is marked "WILSON .45 ACP," and the gun retains the Series 70 pattern with a full-size steel frame and slide.
The extended, ported setup uses a two-port compensator secured to the barrel by a visible top setscrew, bringing the overall barrel length to approximately 5.5 inches. The slide top is flattened and serrated to reduce glare, and it pairs a fixed front blade with a Bo-Mar-marked fully adjustable rear sight for precise zeroing.
Ergonomics and control are upgraded with a checkered front strap, a flat checkered mainspring housing, and an add-on magazine-well funnel for streamlined reloads. An upswept/beavertail-style grip safety, a single-side extended thumb safety, and a short, solid trigger support confident handling.
Finished in matte silver over steel, the pistol includes short forward and standard rear cocking serrations, plus a traditional spur hammer. Capacity is 7+1 in .45 ACP, and the grips are full-coverage checkered dark hardwood panels for a secure, classic feel.
