The 183-series Mini-14 represents a sought-after early production period. This rifle follows the classic Mini-14 layout with an open-top receiver and a Garand/M14-style operating rod driving a gas-operated, rotating-bolt action. Made in the United States, it reflects the configuration and features associated with standard, non-Ranch models of the era.
The stainless-steel barreled action combines a stainless receiver with an 18.5-inch pencil-profile stainless barrel. This trim barrel profile keeps the rifle lively while maintaining the Mini-14’s familiar handling characteristics. The overall stainless finish provides a clean, uniform appearance.
Factory iron sights consist of a wing-protected blade front sight and a protected aperture rear sight. This rifle is the standard (non-GB) configuration and does not have a flash suppressor or bayonet lug.
Furniture includes a hardwood stock with a smooth, uncheckered surface, straight comb, and semi-pistol-grip shape. The upper handguard is the correct black polymer ventilated style. Length of pull is 12.5 inches.
Chambered in .223 Remington, the rifle feeds from detachable magazines and is supplied here with one 10-round magazine for a 10+1 capacity.
